Arts & Crafts Assistant: Hammer

Since opening its doors in 1923, Hammer’s passion to provide quality services for adults and children with developmental disabilities has helped thousands experience life to its fullest.

Volunteer by doing crafts with a resident who enjoys some of the following:

*Scrapbook Artist: Collaborate with residents to create scrapbooks for all occasions
*Baking/Cooking Mentor: Enjoy cooking and baking with a resident for special occasions or any other day
*Seamstress: Teach and enjoy sewing with a resident for any type of sewing project
*Photographer: Produce photographs with a resident that has interest and talent in the area of photography
*Crochet/Knit: Make scarves, sweaters, socks, mittens or blankets with a resident
*Jewelry Making: Bracelets, necklaces, and earings are some ideas for the creative resident and volunteer
*Painting/Drawing: Paint and draw with a resident who has a desire for art
