A New Way to Help Make a Lasting Difference in the Life of a Child from a Low Income Family.

BLOOM VILLAGES

  • Did you know there are currently over 600 families living under the poverty level in Plymouth/Wayzata area?
  • Did you know over 500 children under the age of 5 living in Plymouth need financial support to attend an early learning & childcare center?
  • Did you know that research has proven the link between children entering kindergarten prepared and ready to learn with the ability to create a successful future?

We are forming “villages” of people just like you to make a real difference in the life of a child from a low income family in Plymouth who is struggling financially just to make ends meet. We invite you & your family to join a Bloom Village to offer ongoing support to a child and their family at the time when it matters most.

Join A Village to Help a Bloom Child:

  • Fund the ongoing tuition for a scholarship child from the time they enter Bloom as an infant through their graduation and entrance to Kindergarten.
  • Offer a helping hand and ongoing support to the family in order to meet their individual needs.

The high cost of childcare is out of the reach of families with entry level or low income jobs. This keeps single mothers & struggling parents from working or going back to school to become qualified for a career path and a chance to climb out of poverty. Their children are at risk of entering kindergarten unprepared to succeed, which puts their future in jeopardy. Bloom Early Learning & Childcare dedicates half its capacity to low income children through their community funded Shirley Robinson Scholarship Program and other tuition assistance.
