1-3 volunteers (maximum of 3) will provide enrichment activities for the children at the Crisis Nursery. The activities should be designed to enrich each child’s experience and creativity and to reduce stress. Activities can include games, sports, arts and crafts, music, creative movement, puppetry, dance, etc. We strongly suggest a combination of activities. We have supplies and suggestions on site.

Children at the nursery have been exposed to chronic stress. Large muscle movement activities are encouraged to help release tension and to promote positive social interactions.

Volunteers must be 12 or older. Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older.
