Crisis Line / Shelter Support: Sojourner Project

Join our team by becoming a Crisis Line/Shelter Assistant! Answer calls that come into our shelter through our 24 hour Crisis Line. Provide information, crisis intervention, listening support and referral of resources to callers. Other duties include: clerical support, kitchen help, and support for residents and advocates with the daily routine. 

Volunteer Requirements

  • Good phone and communication skills
  • Background check and training is required for this role

Location:  Exact location will be given over the phone due to privacy and security reasons.
Ages:  Women 18+
Time Commitment: Weekly or Bi-Weekly shift with commitment for at least 6 months
