Homework Club Mentor for K-5 youth: IOCP

August 17, 2017

in Ages 16+

Nearly 100 volunteers are needed to help students (K-5) complete their homework, gain confidence in school and form meaningful relationships. Volunteer weekly at our after school Homework Clubs to build trusting, positive relationship with youth leading to success in school and community. Assist students with homework, social/emotional development and skill building. Volunteers can expect opportunities for their own personal growth, too! No previous tutoring experience is required (training is provided).

Mature teens (16 or older) and adult volunteers are welcome.

Individuals from diverse backgrounds encouraged to apply; our youth love having mentors and role models who look and sound like them!

2 hours, once a week. Variety of days and times available.

Basic Info about the Organization: Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners is led by a vision of the community it works to build — an attentive, responsive, inclusive community where all are welcome and all sectors work together for the good of all.
