MOW THE GRASS

Come be a volunteer with Senior Community Services HOME Program and adopt the yard of a senior in your community. Help a senior maintain their yard by mowing on a regular basis (about every 10 days depending on the weather). You choose your own schedule. We can match you with a senior in your area, so you can lend a hand to someone in your community! Mowers must be 16 years old or older and be able to provide and transport their own lawnmower. A great opportunity for teens or adults looking for a flexible volunteer opportunity!

HOME Program serves age 60+: Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Deephaven, Eden Prairie, Edina, Excelsior, Golden Valley, Greenwood, Hopkins, Long Lake, Maple Grove, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Minnetonka Beach, Mound, New Hope, Orono, Osseo, Plymouth, Richfield, Robbinsdale, Shorewood, Spring Park, St. Louis Park, Tonka Bay, Wayzata, and Woodland.
