Tutor/Mentor Youth: Project for Pride in Living

December 2, 2016

in Academic Support, Ages 16+, Ages 18+, Education and Tutoring

Rediscover the joys of reading by volunteering as a Tutor-Mentor with PPL’s after-school youth programs! We help students from low-income communities succeed in school through engaging activities in a positive environment that’s full of laughter and smiles.

Volunteer Tutor-Mentors are matched 1:1 or in small groups with youth to support social and academic growth through literacy tutoring (50 minutes each night), relationship-building, and enrichment activities.

K-5th grade program: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30-7:30pm
6th-8th grade program: Mondays, 4:30-7:30pm
