Food Drive: The Sheridan Story

April 10, 2017

in Ages 12 and under, Ages 12+, Ages 16+, Ages 18+

Over 200,000 children in the state of Minnesota live in food insecurity and do not always know when they will receive their next meal. The Sheridan Story’s purpose is to respond to this need by closing the weekend food gap between Friday and Monday, when children are not able to participate in the free or reduced meal programs at school.

As food insecurity challenges increase more and more in our communities, the need for a constant source of nutritious food will also continue, and food donations are more vital than ever right now. Please consider donating non-perishable food items to help support The Sheridan Story as it helps decrease their food purchasing costs in order to get more food out to children and families during these difficult times. The Sheridan Story is requesting that all food donations are dropped off at their main office in Roseville. More information can be found below.

You can make a difference and have a direct impact on local child hunger!
