Volunteers needed to help women and chidren in crisis: Sojourner Project

Sojourner provides emergency shelter for women and children; legal advocacy and support to empower those victimized by domestic violence to reclaim their safety; and educational resources to raise awareness and promote violence prevention in our community.

Projects:  Individual Volunteers are needed for Crisis line, Children’s Program and Intervention Volunteers.  Groups are needed for Cleaning and Organizing Projects, Mailings, Room decorations, and Dinner Prep.

Current Wish List

Exact location will be given to confirmed service groups due to privacy and security reasons.
Ages:  Varies by role.  Children’s Program volunteers are 16+, Crisis line 18+, Intervention 21+, Dinner Program 18+, Cleaning, Organizing, Mailing projects 12+ (with adult supervision)
Time Commitment: Varies by project.
